 Information Technology Specialist

Under general direction of the ADSB Chief / IDEAS Section Chief and with the assistance of the CDER Program Chief, CalREDIE Manager, and CalREDIE Surveillance Section Chief, the Information Technology Specialist II (ITS II) performs wide variety of tasks requiring innovative problem solving for the CalREDIE system. The ITS II will implement technological solutions to CalREDIE database and application systems including application and database development, technical system configuration, optimization and performance tuning, and problem resolution. The ITS II will provide management advisement in enterprise strategy, policy, adoption, architecture, and maintenance of complex IT solutions, accounting for all aspects of mission critical products, database, systems and applications through their lifecycle. The ITS II addresses all aspects of complex IT systems that includes administrative, security, customer education, and outreach aspects. The ITS II establishes effective working relationships with all stakeholders. The ITS II performs duties in the Software Engineering and Information Technology domains.

  • ITSD-ADSB is looking for a software engineering with a strong background in programming and Database administration such as Microsoft (MS) Visual Studio.NET (C#), J2EE, PL/SQL, Stored Procedure/views/UDF, Indexes, Triggers, Partition, ETL, SSIS/SSRS, MS SQL Database Server, and experienced in IIS, JBoss, WebSphere, Optical Character Recognition (OCR) API to join our highly professional team. Experience in application development using Microsoft (MS) Visual Studio.NET (C#), C++, J2EE, and Visual Basic.
  • Experience in database experience (administration and programming) with MS SQL. Experience in system, program, and other technical writing.
  • Have at least ten years of experience performing database administration, multi-tier applications setup and configuration, and system support.
