TechCA today announced that Steven Galvez has joined its Advisory Council, bringing more than three decades of leadership experience in public-sector technology and enterprise program management to California’s nonprofit technology trade association.

Galvez’s career spans a wide range of roles in both government and industry, with a strong focus on large-scale IT project delivery, client engagement, and government procurement.

Currently serving as a Senior Account Executive at Appian, Galvez has held key leadership positions at several top technology firms including UiPath, Google, Publicis Sapient, Salesforce, Red River, and Eskel Porter Consulting. He has managed sales, consulting, and delivery for major government projects, and is recognized for his ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage vendor relationships, and drive project success.

He began his career in state service at the California Department of Social Services, California Highway Patrol, Alcohol and Drug Programs, and finally at California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation with the Prison Industry Authority. His state service provided a firm background and understanding to better serve his customer base.

The TechCA Advisory Council provides strategic guidance on the association’s programs and policy initiatives. Council members represent a cross-section of technology leaders with a shared mission to strengthen California’s digital future.
