We are pleased to share that longtime member and community leader Sherilyn Hammond has joined Island Technology as Senior Field Marketing Manager, supporting State & Local Government, K–12 and Higher Education, as well as Healthcare, and Federal teams across the U.S.

With nearly 30 years of experience in State, Local Government, and Education marketing, Sherilyn brings deep public sector expertise to Island. In her role, she will lead field marketing programs that connect public sector and healthcare organizations with modern, practical approaches to security and productivity.

Island is the Enterprise Browser, purpose-built to embed security directly into the browser—helping organizations simplify security operations, protect sensitive data, and enable a seamless user experience without sacrificing performance. This model is especially well-suited for public sector, education, and healthcare organizations navigating hybrid work and evolving cybersecurity challenges.

Many in the TechCA community know Sherilyn through her long-standing service as Co-Chair of the Events Committee. TechCA congratulates Sherilyn on this exciting new chapter and looks forward to continued collaboration with her and the Island team.
