On Wednesday (8/14/24), TechCA held its second annual State Capitol Day. A delegation of members, led by our Policy Committee Co-Chairs London Biggs and Lorin Alusic and Legislative Advocate Courtney Jenson, participated in a series of meetings with the executive and legislative branches of state government to advocate for the association’s legislative positions and our mission of creating more trusted and meaningful partnerships between industry and government.

We met with the California Department of Technology, Government Operations Agency, and the offices of Senate and Assembly members and staff, including Senator Josh Becker, Assemblymember Rebecca Bauer-Kahan, Senator Roger Niello, Senate Pro Tem Mike McGuire, Assembly Speaker Robert Rivas, Assemblymember Joe Patterson, Senator Steve Padilla, and Assemblymember Lori Wilson.

Representing the industry collectively, our delegation had meaningful conversations about our policy priorities and legislation pending in the State Capitol.
